As for me, I opened what I thought was my life insurance acceptance letter. Boy, was I wrong! What a way to start the day...bills, junk-mail, and Hepatitis C.

ReplyDeleteHi, I'm an ifected one with Hepatitis C virus, too. Congratulations for your initiative to encourage people who are infected not to give up hoping they will beat such a terrible virus.
ReplyDeleteI have found out I'm infected with this virus in 2004 and started as soon as possible the interferon and ribavirin therapy. It was very difficult for me to keep going with the therapy, because ribavirine generated a severe weakness(anemia) to me, but I finally succeeded to have it for one year(48 weeks) and fortunately for me, the blood tests showed that I have positively reacted to the therapy. After the first three months of therapy, my viral load proved to be undetectable, meaning that it is lower than 600 since that time until now. I hope that after some time I'll be able to tell everybody that I am free of hepatitis C virus and support some other people infected, too. I'm already supporting a good firend of mine who have just started the therapy. KEEP HOPING is definitely very important in beating such a virus.
